Boat and Guide – Daily Rate
There are currently 7 vessels in our fleet ranging from 23ft – 28 ft in length and are priced accordingly. All-day charters include boat and guide (8hrs per day). Water, soft drinks, fishing tackle and bait are provided onboard. All vessels are equipped with quality tackle, electronics, safety gear, and toilets. All of our guides are experienced and have the required credentials to operate our vessels. Licence, lunch and professional vacuum sealing and freezing of the catch are not included in the price for day charters.
Fuel Surcharge of $50 per day, per boat, will apply in event of fuel prices over 1.35/L.

Package Rates
Quarterdeck Inn – Port Hardy
All packages include boat and guide (8hrs per day). Water, soft drinks, fishing tackle and bait are provided onboard. Meals include continental breakfast (Quarterdeck Inn) and a bagged lunch. “Airline ready” packaging and freezing of catch at Hardy Buoys are also included. Fishing Licenses, Dinners and Gratuities, are not included. 2 persons per boat is recommended for fly fishing. All Prices per person, based on double and triple occupancy. Quarterdeck provides the perfect base for your salmon excursion, as there is great fishing within minutes of the dock. Enjoy the warm comfort of the restaurant and pub, as you unwind and reminisce about the trophy you caught that day. The chef will even cook your “catch of the day”! It doesn’t get any fresher!

These trips run the last week in August, and the first week in September, and coincide with huge migrations of hungry Silver (Coho) Salmon, and Albacore Tuna off the west side of Vancouver Island! BOOKING TERMS
As a result of the long-term planning required by our Clients, the majority of our available space is booked well in advance of the fishing season. This limits our flexibility in respect to changing the dates, number of boats, accommodation etc.
We have to commit to our guides, dock space requirements, accommodation and in some cases hotel reservations and sub-contract charter operators to fill the needs of our clients. As a result of these commitments, we are unable to cancel or change bookings on short notice.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the remaining balance is due within 30 days.
Deposits will be transferred in full to a different time frame of your choosing, if notice of cancellation is received in writing, at least 90 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
MasterCard, Visa & Interac E- Transfer accepted.
Unless specified, food and catch processing is not included as part of our packages. Most clients order boxed lunches from the hotel front desk, and water and soft drinks are provided free of charge on the boats. The majority of our guests who choose to retain fish have their catch professionally cut and packaged for travel by a local processor.
